ABOUT DEXTER

Gabe Dexter purchased the old Fisherman’s Inn in June 2023 and transformed it into Dexter’s Last Resort, LLC. Situated just a stone’s throw away from Roaring River State Park, Dexter’s Last Resort features 50 RV spots equipped with essential hookups, with Airbnb rentals coming soon to accommodate both seasoned and first-time campers.

Before moving to Cassville, Missouri, Gabe grew up in the small town of Chambers, Nebraska, which had a population of 260. He graduated from Chambers High School in 2013 and pursued his college education at Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, Kansas, majoring in Wildlife Firefighting.

Gabe has dedicated nearly a decade of his life for the United States Forest Service, where he has traveled all over the country to combat wildfires. When he’s not on firefighting duty, Dexter resides in Cassville and continues the renovation of his new business venture, which he plans to expand and develop over the next decade.
